Baby’s First PangoBooks Haul!

I’ve never been one to gatekeep, so here I am sharing how I bought 11 books in excellent condition for less than $125.

There’s a not-so-hidden gem for book lovers called PangoBooks. PangoBooks is an app designed with readers in mind, for you to buy and sell books with ease and confidence — because if you’re not satisfied, their team is there to help.

Becoming familiar with the app took no time at all. The app is easy to navigate, as soon as you open the app PangoBooks is ready to assist you with what you’re looking for (and what you didn’t know you were looking for through personalized books and shop recommendations).

I haven’t made my way to being a seller just yet, but the book buying experience was a breeze. Many of the books I chose were ones that had been on my TBR for a while, while others were recommended to me more recently. The independent sellers are personable and friendly, most of them sent messages my way to express gratitude and let me know when to expect my books. Some even take it a step further to send handwritten notes and cool goodies with the books. Can you name a big chain that does that? I don’t think so.

What did I get in my first PangoBooks book haul?

I did a fun unboxing of the books on my Instagram, but here’s a complete list of the eleven books I purchased from PangoBooks:

  1. How to Find A Princess by Alyssa Cole

  2. Over the Influence by Jojo

  3. The Lesbiana’s Guide to Catholic School by Sonora Reyes

  4. Lovecraft Country by Matt Ruff

  5. Reel by Kennedy Ryan

  6. Under the Influencer by Noelle Crooks

  7. D’Vaughn and Kris Plan a Wedding by Chencia C. Higgins

  8. Kindred by Octavia Butler

  9. Big Friendship by Aminatou Sow & Ann Friedman

  10. Wahala by Nikki May

  11. The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron
